After "Coming Home" in May, Ras Shiloh comes with an excellent album to be released on 5th of November

Ras Shiloh - Only King SelassieThis album will probably count as one of the best new roots pieces of this year end. "Only King Selassie" released on Greensleeves records and produced by King Jammy in his Waterhouse studio features 15 great tracks which remind Ras Shiloh is a top roots vocalist.
With ‘I Know’, ‘Rastaman To Africa’, ‘Hardcore Steppers’ which sounds like a roots tune from the late 1970’s and ‘Mama Africa’ featuring Lutan Fyah on top form, Ras Shiloh offers us an excellent set with powerful instrumentals. It features also classic early digital Jammy’s riddims such as I Love King Selassie, Sleng Teng and the excellent ‘Praises To Jah’ Shiloh’s cut on Tonight riddim.

With his beautiful & deep voice added to conscious & spiritual lyrics, "Only King Selassie" is a must !

Even if I enjoyed the two first King Jammy produced albums released by Greensleeves (Sizzla - Waterhouse Redemption in 2006 and Natural Black - Jah Guide in 2007), this third one is my favourite. The encounter of two great men : producer King Jammy and singer Ras Shiloh. Each song is a real pleasure and Shiloh proves his big talent on this new roots and digital instrumentals. A big tribute to King Jammy's sound system with 'To The King', the spiritual and powerful vibrations of natural hills on 'Man From The Mountain' and an excellent duet with Lutan Fyah on 'Mama Africa'. He also offers a killer deejay style on 'Only King Selassie'. A great album to listen again and again without any disappointing tune !
