Roger Steffens and Peter Simon come back with a new tribute to reggae.

Roger Steffens a.k.a. Ras Rojah, founding editor of The Beat and photographer Peter Simon  - already known for his books Reggae Bloodlines and Reggae International - come back with a new tribute to reggae.

Reggae Scrapbook is not just a book as the title suggests. It's a book where the visual prevail on words. Featuring autographed flyers, album covers, posters, postcards, stickers and tickets : the authors refer to almost half a century of Jamaican music.

In your hands, Reggae Scrapbook becomes a priceless treasure. All these pictures, these little pieces of paper accumulated during the past decades, which are gathered for you to discuss of topics like ska, rocksteady, rastafari, reggae and dancehall.

This book does not claim to be a source of information on reggae and its major stars. No, there is no big theory here, just small anecdotes and memories to create a kind of photo album, which we run over and over again.

It is also important to notice that this book includes a DVD entitled Reggae Scrapbook, Behind The Scenes, including some interviews by Roger Steffens of Luciano, Joseph Hill, Peter Tosh, Alton Ellis, The Heptones, Judy Mowatt, The Wailers Band, and Betty Wright.

Foreword by Toots Hibbert and introduction by Stephen Davis.
