13 years after his second album, jamaican singer aka 'The Pen' is back with a third album distributed by VP Records.

Hopeton Lindo - TurfTurf…Another youth get shot (…) Everyday another gone shot!’, this is how opens the first track of Hopeton Lindo’s new album "Turf". A conscious song dealing with gang war’ folly. Hopeton Lindo’s new set is in the shape of first track, that is to say articulated. From ‘Killing Fields’ featurning Anthony B to ‘Mr Politician’ featuring Lady Saw and ‘Cease Fire’ featuring Gregory Isaacs, Hopeton Lindo delivers serious tunes on corrupt politicians, humanity, injustice and gives us a deep cry for peace alongside the ‘Cool Ruler’.

Truly lover reggae singer, Hopeton Lindo gives tribute to women in this set with song as ‘Don’t Deny It’, ‘Hardworking Woman’ and sings Love on ‘I’m So Proud’ based on a riddim made in Studio 1, ‘Make Time For Love’ adapted from the original hit Alton EllisI’m Still In Love With You and ‘Love Chat’ in a 80’s dancehall style, to name a few.

Produced on his own label Irie Pen Records, Hopeton Lindo who follows to rule dancehalls with his hit ‘Territory’ returns with a brand new opus, delivering smooth and airy vocals mostly led by strong melodies.
