Capleton

Capleton aka Clifton Georges Bailey aka The Prophet is a new roots and dancehall artist.
He was born in 1967 in St Mary, Jamaica. Capleton made his beginnings in 1989 introducing the African Star sound system in Toronto and releasing his first single  "Bumbo Red" on X-Terminator label. 1994 was a turning point in Capleton’s career. No more uttering lyrics, it’s time to more spiritual and conscious ones. After releasing "Prophecy" in 1995 and "I-Testament" in 1997 on Def Jam label, Capleton released 3 great opus on VP Records : "More Fire" in 2000, "Still Blazin" in 2002 and "Reign Of Fire" in 2004.
