Beres Hammond

Beres Hammond aka Hugh Beresford Hammond is a true romantic & lovers rock singer!
He was born in 1955 in Saint Mary, Jamaica. He began his career in the 1970s and joined the band Zap Pow in 1975. He released his debut solo album Soul Reggae in 1976. Since the end of his collaboration with Zap Pow in 1979, he pursued his solo career and also created later his own label, Harmony House. Beres Hammond, who is now considered as one of the best lover singer, hasn’t known success immediately. It’s only since the 1990’s that his career took off with the released of many albums on differents labels such as Getting Stronger on Heartbeat.
