Sign Time by Claudius Linton and Ian Jones

After releasing an anthology with some of his greatest songs last year, the American label Sun King has just issued Claudius Linton's new album Sign Time. It's a collaboration with American musician and producer Ian Jones (under the names of Kingman & Jonah) recorded at Tuff Gong studio in 2007 as well as various parts of Jamaica and the U.S.

The CD contains 13 fresh new tunes on vintage style roots rhythms and a bonus mini-documentary on the making of the album. The musicians include such Jamaican legends as Ansel Collins, Horsemouth, Dwight Pinkney, Dean Fraser, Bongo Herman, Fully Fullwood, Chinna, Santa Davis and more.
