The new documentary film about sound system culture in the UK is about to be available on DVD on 1st of July.

The long awaited Musically Mad, a project documentary about sound system culture in the UK is about to see the light on DVD on 1st of July. Since 2004, the team out of Sweden has met most of well known actors of the UK reggae & dub scene.

It includes a one hour documentary featuring interviews of Iration Steppas, Dougie from Conscious Sounds, Murray Man, Ironworks Dread, Ras Muffet, Dj Stryda, King Shiloh, Russ Disciples, Reuben Addis, Afrikan Simba, Channel One, Fatman Sound, Young Warrior, Joe Ariwa, Mad Professor, Levi Roots, Mark Mostec and Shortman ; and live sequences with Aba Shanti I, Iration Steppas, Mighty Tabot, Channel One, King Earthquake, Entebbe Sound and Fairshare Unity. The DVD also contains one hour of extra material and a 16 page booklet written by David Katz. Recommended.
