The sensational new book on the life of dancehall king Beenie Man has finally been scheduled for worldwide release this summer.

While some journalists believe it is now necessary to clean up the Dancehall, others are working on its development in a much more concrete way. Just a few months ago, Macka Diamond wrote her first novel, Bun Him. And now Who Am I? The Untold Story of Beenie Man is due for release on the 16th July.

Written by Jamaican author Milton Wray, this first-ever Dancehall biography tracks the twists and turns of Beenie Man’s life, following the superstar’s rise from childhood to his Grammy Award in great detail. Perfect reading for the summer holidays.
