Johnny Osbourne and Linval Thompson back on Greensleeves
Two new roots compilations soon out on Greensleeves featuring classic and more rare tunes.
The UK label Greensleeves releases a fifth set on its Most Wanted series, and another one on the 12'’ Rulers collection. First compilation is dedicated to Jamaican veteran Johnny Osbourne, and features 13 songs out as 12'’ in the 1980’s. Second release features 12 tracks of 12’’ produced by Linval Thompson. We found some killers as Barrington Levy’s Too Poor, Sammy Dread’s Follow Fashion and Freddie McGregor’s Big Ship.
Both compilations are due out on August on Greensleeves. Ideal roots selection for summer time…
