New riddim release out of Brasil featuring veteran reggae artists and mc's of the Baile Funk scene of Rio de Janeiro.

Sampler

When the Baile Funk meets the DancehallHere is the Funk Milk, a new danchall riddim coming from Brasil. Produced by Digitaldubs, the first reggae sound system hailing from Rio de Janeiro, the Funk Milk riddim is already available as 7’ (Muzamba label), on CD and for download. The crew has gathered veterans from the reggae scene and artists out of Brasil. We find Tippa Irie, Kirk Davis, Daddy Freddy and Percy Dread alongside Brasilian mc’s and deejays as Jeru Banto, Funk Buia, Nabby Clifford, Black Ney, Arcanjo Ras, Duda do Borel, Victor Binghi-I, Bia Black, Lei Di Daí and Funkero.

A tough and original dancehall production influenced by the carioca funk - aka favela funk and Baile funk. Recommended.
