Africa Unite - Smile Jamaica 2008

Africa Unite - Smile Jamaica will take place in Jamaica on February 2008.

Initially scheduled to be hosted in South Africa but due to a lack of financial support, Africa Unite - Smile Jamaica 2008 will held in Jamaica between Feburary 1st and the 23rd 2008. The event, thrown by Rita Marley Foundation and Bob Marley Foundation will welcome live shows and a serie of exhibitions, symposiums and fund raising gatherings to help promoting the universal message of One Love. Africa Unite was launched in 2005 in Ethiopia and took place in Ghana next year in order to create global awareness to vital issues affecting Africa.

The event will close with Reggae Academy Awards at the National In door Sports Centre in Kingston on 24th of February.
