Africa Unite DVD will be available next month.

More than a concert, the film proposes that we follow the Marley family trip to Ethiopia to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of Bob Marley.

Directed by Stephanie Black, known for her masterly Life and Debt, this film features rare archive footage of Bob marley and live footage from the 2005 concert in Meskel Square, Addis Ababa.

There in the capital city of Addis Ababa three generations of Marleys take part in a 12-hour concert attended by more than 300,000 people from around the world, with the ultimate purpose of inspiring the young generations of Africa to unite for the future of their continent. [Palm Pictures]


The DVD release is scheduled for the 12th February, 2008.
